Big Blue Bargains (BBB) is a town wide thrift store run by parent volunteers. BBB benefits the Swampscott Public Schools by providing a continuous source of funds to enhance cultural enrichment programs in the schools.  BBB also benefits the Swampscott Community by providing the residents a way to recycle and reuse items locally that may have otherwise been thrown out or sent to another charity.

Visit Big Blue Bargains!  BBB is located at the Swampscott Middle School on 207 Forest Ave.  Enter by the gym, continue left around the back of the building, to the door with BBB on it.  When visiting BBB, you can expect to find gently used clothing and accessories for adults and children.  BBB also has sports equipment, unique and antique items, and a variety of household goods and decorations.

Volunteer at Big Blue Bargains!  BBB is run by parent volunteers.  In order for Hadley PTA to receive funds from sales, we need volunteers each month.  During the year, we will send out dates and a sign-up link for volunteers.  You can also visit our sign-up page any time.  Plus, one of the benefits of volunteering is that you receive half off your purchases!  Don’t forget to sign-in at the store roster under Hadley School when you volunteer.   Thank you for donating your time by volunteering at Big Blue Bargains Thrift Shop.

Donate to Big Blue Bargains! Donate locally – our schools will benefit from your donations.  Earned funds are used by Swampscott PTA/Os for school cultural enrichment programs.  Donations are only accepted during the hours of operation; please see the BBB website for what types of donations are accepted.

Be a Big Blue Bargains Liaison!  We need a volunteer to work with BBB and communicate the volunteer schedule and other events to the Hadley community. Please contact Susan Buchanan at slbuchanan@partners.org if you are interested.

Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
